Rhema Inspiration
PREPARED BY FIRE
“The prophets the Holy
Spirit is training and sending forth are not after
your money, they are not interested in making you
feel good,
and they will never tickle your fleshly
ears.”
Today, we will address being
prepared by the fire of God’s Word. The Spirit of
God is working to prepare a mature Church that will
forsake all to follow Jesus and be salt and light to
the world. To help Him prepare this Church, He is
training and sending forth true and mature prophets of
God and His Word whom He has prepared for this time.
These prophets have been prepared by the fire of the
Spirit and the fire of truth, with the result that the
Word of God is burning within them. They are crying out
the truth of Jesus Christ, His kingdom, and His Word.
There are many ministers in the
body of Christ who are more concerned with things such
as money, fame, personal advancement, and church
doctrines and traditions than they are with truth. Some
of these ministers even manipulate the truth of God and
His Word to accomplish their own agendas and purposes.
Others, though very sincere and well meaning, bind
people to man’s doctrines and traditions rather
than freeing and equipping them by ministering
God’s pure truth to them. Still others tell
people what they like to hear and what will make them
feel good so that the people will follow and support
them. Their time is short!
The prophets the Holy Spirit is
training and sending forth are not after your money,
they are not interested in making you feel good, and
they will never tickle your fleshly ears. They are
after your loyalty and commitment to the Lord Jesus
Christ and the Word of God’s truth. The Spirit of
God is using them to advance the truth of Jesus and His
kingdom, and to help build a Church that has Christ
Jesus formed within. They are looking for disciples of
the Lord who will submit to being prepared by the fire
of the Spirit and the fire of truth. They are after
disciples of Jesus Christ who will deny self, forsake
all, and follow Him and Him only.
The Spirit of God is sending forth
His trained prophets who have the Word of God burning
within them. He is going to use them to find out who
has ears to hear, eyes to see, and hearts to understand
the things of God and His Word. He is going to find
those who will yield to preparation by fire. Will you
be among those? Will you hear, receive, and
meditate on God’s truth until it becomes alive
and burns within you? Will you become a dedicated
disciple of the Lord and His truth who goes forth to
make disciples who are prepared by fire who will, in
turn, do the same? The time is short for doing the work
of the Lord!
