Rhema Inspiration
ONE MATURE FAMILY
“Concerning ministering the
Word, what really matters is that
the truth of
Jesus and His Word is ministered.”
God is sovereign! There is no
question about His sovereignty, but as the Sovereign
One He has willed that His covenant people (born again
Jews and Gentiles in one family) faithfully and
obediently cooperate with Him and each other to
accomplish His will and purposes on earth. Unless
God’s people (born again Jews and Gentiles)
believe this truth and surrender themselves to the
Spirit of God to follow His directions, their life in
Christ will never reach full maturity. They will never
bear all the fruit that God desires of His children.
It is God’s will that all be
born again, and it is His will that all who are born
again grow to maturity in Christ. Justification by
faith is a glorious truth. There is nothing more
important for any Jew or Gentile than to become part of
God’s family by being born again, but when they
do become born again by believing in Jesus Christ
(there is no other way to be born again), they are
infants in Christ. God loves His little babes and
little children, but He wants them to grow up and
become mature sons and daughters in Christ.
The Holy Spirit through the writer
of Hebrews said, “Let us go on to
maturity.” God loves you! He loves each
individual member of His family, and He wants you to
hear and understand that He wants a mature family. Our
heavenly Father wants us, His family, to move on to
maturity.
Will you open your heart to this
truth? Will you ask your Father in heaven to let you
feel in your heart what He wants, and then give
yourself to becoming mature in Christ? If so, remember
that as you individually seek maturity in Christ, a
major part of your maturity involves cooperating with
our Sovereign Father’s will for One Mature
Family.

BIBLICAL APPLICATION:
This mystery is that through the
gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel,
members together of one body, and sharers together in
the promise in Christ Jesus.
For this reason I kneel before the
Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on
earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious
riches he may strengthen you with power through his
Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in
your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being
rooted and established in love, may have power,
together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and
long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to
know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you
may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of
God. Ephesians 3:
